Establishing contact between students as well as between students and lecturers is encouraged. The students will also be given the opportunity to present their own research.\n\nParticipation in lectures and seminars is mandatory.","Examination formats":"Networking and practical demonstrations are essential parts of this course. In order to stimulate networking the course is given at campus with mandatory participation in lectures (at least 80%) and seminars (100%). Students missing seminars because of illness or similar will be given a chance to compensate for this.\n\nExamination will be in the form of a short written report in<br>\nwhich the student reflects on how knowledge gained from the course can be applied in the research project performed. \r\n- If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.\r\n\r\n- The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university. Examiners may also issue an adapted examination or provide an alternative way for the students to take the exam.\r\n\r\n- If this syllabus is withdrawn, SLU may introduce transitional provisions for examining students admitted based on this syllabus and who have not yet passed the course.\r\n\r\n- For the assessment of an independent project (degree project), the examiner may also allow a student to add supplemental information after the deadline for submission.
