This corresponds to ca 4 weeks, where each week is dedicated to a theme, and students will read selected literature, complete individual assignments, and prepare to discuss the theme in a teacher-led online seminar at the end of the week.\n\n2-week field period\n\nAfter this, there is a field period of ca 2 weeks, where students and the team of teachers meet in person (check specific course instance for information about the location). During the field period, indoor classes will be complemented by outdoor practical exercises and excursions, and it will conclude with a final examination exercise for the course.\n\nThe team of teachers are qualified scientists within a diverse range of fields corresponding to the various topics in the course. The venue and geographical location of the field period may vary between course instances, demonstrating how ecophysiological research approaches can be applied to various forest types and to facilitate scientific networking for participating students. During the field-period the course is organized in collaboration with institutions responsible for the visited research infrastructures.","Examination formats":"Active participation in online seminars and mandatory participation to lectures\/excursions\/exercises during the field period. Approved exercises and assignments, including the final course assessment (individual written task and group exercise). \r\n- If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.\r\n\r\n- The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university.
