Overview: The datafile AMR_Campylobacter contains raw data on antimicrobial resistance in Campylobacter spp. isolated from poultry carcasses collected at informal markets in 2022. 

Data description: 
Sample_ID: unique sample identity. The first number (1-30) represents the market, and the next number (1-4) is the broiler chicken collected from the market. The Sample_ID correspond to the Vendor_ID in the data set ‘food_safety_questionnaire_results’
Species: Campylobacter specie coli or jejuni
District: Mukono and Wakiso are two districts in the Ugandan capital Kampala. Kampala refers to the central area in the capital. 
Nal: the antimicrobial nalidixic acid; the number indicates the inhibition zone in millimetres
Nal_AMR: antimicrobial resistance for nalidixic acid; R=resistant; I=intermediate resistant; S=susceptible; N/A = not available  
Ery: the antimicrobial erythromycin; the number indicates the inhibition zone in millimetres
Ery_AMR: antimicrobial resistance for erythromycin; R=resistant; I=intermediate resistant; S=susceptible. 
Cip: the antimicrobial ciprofloxacin; the number indicates the inhibition zone in millimetres
