The course covers concepts such as data types, loops and conditional statements, functions and object oriented programming. It will also give an introduction to coding best practices and how to efficiently structure and debug code.\n\n<br>\nLectures 16h, Computer labs 16h, Own study 24h, Programming assignment 16h, Code review 4h, Presentations 4h","Examination formats":"Programming assignment where the student will get to utilize the acquired skills on their own research data (or example data if the student has no suitable data set). The students should also perform code reviews on each other’s assignments. \r\n- If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.\r\n\r\n- The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university.
