Before the scheduled course weeks, students will be given a list of self-study material corresponding to one full day of studies. Each student will also be requested to prepare a short presentation of his\/her PhD project, to be held for the other students during the scheduled course weeks.\n\n2) Two consecutive scheduled course weeks Mon-Fri with fulltime studies, containing 20-25 hours of talks\/lectures, \\~16 h scheduled self-studies, \\~8 h discussions\/seminars, \\~6 h student presentations.","Examination formats":"Requirments for passed course:<br>\n\\- Attendance\/participation in at least 2\/3 of lectures, discussions and student presentations.<br>\n\\- Active participation in disucussions and seminars.<br>\n\\- The student has prepared and held a presentation of satisfactory quality. \r\n- If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.\r\n\r\n- The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university. Examiners may also issue an adapted examination or provide an alternative way for the students to take the exam.\r\n\r\n- If this syllabus is withdrawn, SLU may introduce transitional provisions for examining students admitted based on this syllabus and who have not yet passed the course.\r\n\r\n- For the assessment of an independent project (degree project), the examiner may also allow a student to add supplemental information after the deadline for submission.
